Research Programs
The
Heart Research Centre is unique in Australia in that it conducts
research solely into the social, psychological and behavioural aspects
of heart disease, the 'human face' of heart disease. Through our research we
aim to improve the quality of life of cardiac patients and the delivery
of health services in these areas.

Training Programs
The Heart Research Centre conducts
training programs for health professionals working with patients with chronic diseases including cardiovascular disease, so that knowledge gained by research
benefits the community.
